Loganville fire chief killed directing traffic on I-83
Loganville Volunteer Fire Department Chief Rodney Paul Miller, 45, was killed in the line of duty early Saturday morning. He was directing traffic around a crash on Interstate 83 when he was struck by a passing vehicle. Police have charged Matthew Scott Diehl, 32, of Shrewsbury with homicide by vehicle in connection with Miller’s death.
YDR wins a dozen awards in Pennsylvania-wide news competition
York Daily Record/Sunday News staff members won numerous awards in the Pennsylvania Associated Press Managing Editors competition.
