Representative from Young Americans for Obama to speak at York County Federation of Democratic Women meeting Saturday

A local representative from Young Americans for Obama will speak at the York County Federation of Democratic Women’s meeting Saturday, the organization announced in a news release.

The event will take place at Spataro’s Restaurant, 1239 Roosevelt Ave., York. The meeting starts at 12:30 p.m., and it will be preceded by a “Dutch Treat luncheon” at 11:30 a.m.

The York County Federation of Democratic Women will meet at 12:30 pm on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Spataro’s Restaurant, 1239 Roosevelt Avenue in York, PA.

A local representative from Young Americans for Obama, will outline campaign strategies, procedures and goals for the upcoming General Election and discuss the presidential campaign from the perspective of young Americans.

As part of the presentation, a short (17 minute) video: “The Road We’ve Traveled”, will be shown as a look back at the first years of President Obama’s Presidency and the difficult decisions he’s faced.

The public is welcome to attend and membership in the YCFDW is not required. A Dutch Treat luncheon, beginning at 11:30 am, will precede the meeting. Visit the website, www.yorkdemwomen.org, for more information.
