York watch party planned for Barack Obama-Mitt Romney presidential debate

A watch party for the first debate between President Barack Obama and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will take place Wednesday night at the Obama campaign’s York office at 120 W. Market St., according to a news release.

The event is one of hundreds of watch parties, organized by the Obama campaign, taking place across Pennsylvania, according to the news release.

The watch party begins at 8:30 p.m. The debate itself takes place from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., according to the Commission on Presidential Debates.

Last week, I wrote about the York County Democratic Party’s plan for a watch party at New Grounds Roasting Company, 284 W. Market St., York.
