York County commissioners to hold town hall meeting tonight

Want to talk to York County commissioners about texting to 911? The fifth floor of the judicial center? Or something else?

Well, their second of two public town hall meetings this month is taking place tonight at the York County Emergency Services Center, 120 Davies Drive in Springettsbury Township.

The event begins with a reception at 5:30 p.m. followed by the program at 6 p.m., according to a news release. Light refreshments will be served during the reception.

Commissioners will offer brief remarks about county business and take questions, according to the release.

The first town hall this month took place at the Community Center of the Lutheran Retirement Village at Utz Terrace, 2100 Utz Terrace in West Manheim Township.

The events are sponsored by the York County Chamber of Commerce and the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce, according to the release. Seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Registration is recommended but not required.
