Registration is now open for the York County Department of Veterans Affairs’ annual breakfast and recognition ceremony for Pearl Harbor and Battle of the Bulge veterans, according to a news release.
The department holds the program each year on Dec. 7, National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, according to the release. This year’s program will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the Pennsylvania Room at the York Expo Center.
The event is open to the public. There is no cost to attend only the ceremony.
The cost is $10 per person for the general public to attend both the ceremony and breakfast. The breakfast and program is free for veterans of the Pearl Harbor attack and the Battle of the Bulge, and $5 for all other World War II veterans.
People interested in attending should contact the county’s department of veterans affairs at 771-9218 or return the registration form available at www.ycva.org. People are asked to submit the form and payment by Dec. 3.
