York County commissioners approve code of conduct

York County commissioners on Wednesday approved a code of conduct for elected and appointed officials.

“This is a common sense document,” said York County Commissioner Doug Hoke.

Donald Reihart, acting solicitor for the county ,said the code is meant to enhance the way officials conduct themselves.

“It is not punitive,” Reihart said. “It is educational.”
