Pa. lawmakers’ charity bike ride to go through York County

State Senate President Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati, R-Jefferson County, and Lt. Governor Jim Cawley will host a three-day, 100-mile charity bike ride from Gettysburg to Annville to raise money for three children’s hospitals in Pennsylvania, according to a news release.

Scarnati said in the release that this is the fifth annual charity bike ride for children’s hospitals. The route will go from the Gettysburg Battlefield to York on Saturday, from York to Hershey on Sunday and from Hershey to Annville on Monday.
