York Mayor Kim Bracey will be U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey’s guest for State of the Union

York Mayor Kim Bracey will be U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey’s guest for President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address Tuesday, said Toomey spokesman Steve Kelly.

Kelly said that Toomey, a Republican, decided to invite the Democratic mayor because of the bipartisan way she works with Republicans in York County.

Last year, Toomey invited state Sen. Anthony Williams, a Democrat who represents parts of Delaware County and Philadelphia.
