For the 94th legislative district, ACTION of PA endorses Kelly Henshaw.  “Kelly is a real special candidate that doesn’t come around very often,” said Jay McKiernan, President of the York County Chapter.  “He not only agrees with us on our core principles of life, family, integrity, but he put his faith into action as a Red Lion Borough Council member.  We urge our members and friends to get behind him because we don’t know when an opportunity like this will come again.”

For the 196th legislative district, ACTION endorses State Representative Seth Grove for re-election.  “This endorsement acknowledges his longstanding and active commitment to the biblical principles of religious freedom, right to life, traditional marriage between one man and one woman, and personal moral character and integrity,” McKiernan said.  “State Representative Grove was recognized as our Statesman of the Year in 2010 because of his character under pressure and he hasn’t let us down.”

In the race for state representative in the 169th district: Leroy Wentz, Marc Woerner, and Kate Klunk are all rated as “acceptable.”  McKiernan explained, “The three agree with us on our core principles and each one would make a great representative for the people in the Hanover area.”

Candidates Ernie Merisotis and Kristin Hill are also rated as “acceptable” for state representative in the 93rd district.  The acceptable and endorsed candidates are invited to speak at Friday’s rally.

There is no admission charge for the “Vote Your Values Rally” on Friday. The keynote speaker is State Senator Mike Folmer, who represents the 48th district.  The event is free and the public is invited.

ACTION of PA York County Chapter has no position on Senate District 28 Primary or  uncontested local races.  On the state level, ACTION of PA endorsed Tom Corbett for re-election.

ACTION of PA is a pro-life, pro-family political action committee.  ACTION is an acronym for Americans for Christian Traditions In Our Nation.
