I just noticed a giant sign plastered on the old Futer Bros. building, at the corner of Market and George streets.
The sign appears to indicate that the first floor will be used for retail or restaurant space, and the upper floors will be used for retail or office space. It lists a March 2009 completion date.

Someone here did a story on developers returning the building to its 1850s appearance several months ago, and at that point they weren't sure what it would be or when it would be done. The sign makes it sound like they're a little closer now.
