New ShotSpotter data

| | Comments (1)
The ShotSpotter results for the month of May are up on the city's Web site.

The numbers are up quite a bit compared to the past few months. The totals for May were:
Gunshots: 710
Firecrackers: 880
Other noises: 175
To compare, in April, there were 185 gunshots, 334 firecrackers and 178 other noises recorded.

The date in May with the most gunshots recorded was Memorial Day, May 25. The results show 217 gunshots, but only one firecracker, recorded. Hmmmm...

If you want to check out the shots recorded on a particular day, visit the York City Living page.

Why won't you ask the mayor any questions about this?

Are you afraid of him? Are you being told to avoid the issue by your employer?

I know I'm not the only one that has these questions.
