Street sweeping updates

Citywide street sweeping ends for the season Friday - but year-round sweeping continues on several city streets, according to a news release.

Year-round sweeping takes place on certain streets Friday mornings from 7:15 to 11:45.

Here's the list of streets from the city.

Vehicles not moved will be ticketed and towed on the following streets:

First Friday morning
Princess Street, from Belvidere Avenue to Penn Street, south side; Queen Street, from King Street to Boundary Avenue, west Side

Second Friday morning
Princess Street, from Penn Street to Belvidere Avenue, north side; Duke Street, from Jackson Street to College Avenue, east side; Queen Street, from Boundary Avenue to King Street, east side

Third Friday morning
Princess Street, from Belvidere Avenue to Penn Street, south side; Queen Street, from King Street to Boundary Avenue, west side

Fourth Friday morning
Princess Street, from Penn Street to Belvidere Ave.,  north side; Duke Street, from Jackson Street to College Avenue, east side; Queen Street, from Boundary Avenue to King Street, east side

Vehicles will be ticketed on the following streets if not moved:

First Friday morning
S. Pine Street, from King Street to E. Maple Street, west side; Heiges Alley (600, 700 & 800 blocks)

Second  Friday morning
S. Pine Street, from East Maple Street to King Street, east side; Heiges Alley (600, 700, 800 blocks)

Third Friday morning
South Pine Street, from King Street to East Maple Street, west side; Heiges Alley (600, 700, 800 blocks)

Fouth Friday morning
South Pine Street, from East Maple Street to King Street, east side; Heiges Alley (600, 700, 800 blocks)

About when does the street sweeping leave the Friday only schedule?

Hi, Linda -- It's usually mid-March when we receive notice that the seasonal street sweeping will resume. Hope this helps!
