MLK award nominations sought

The Crispus Attucks Association is seeking nominations for the "Now is the Time" awards as part of the annual Martin Luther King Day of Service.

The awards celebrate King's legacy and will be given at a breakfast ceremony Jan. 18.

The Award for Leadership goes to a person or organization that is a proven leader for civil rights and development in the county. The Award for Excellence in Service recognizes a person or organization dedicated to servint the community, and the Award for Social Justice goes to a person or organization that exemplifies King's concern for justice for the disadvantaged.
