For two days, community volunteers teamed up with York’s Bring On Play committee to build two new sets of play equipment at York’s Allen Park — one set is for ages two to five, while the other set is designed children for ages five to 12.
The park renovations, which took place on Sept 10 and 11, were the
second project for the committee, which aims to replace outdated
playgrounds across the city and keep children physically active.
About 30 volunteers including members of the York police and fire departments and JMT Engineering helped with the project.
