Health festival to be held in Fireside

A health festival sponsored by the York City Bureau of Health will be held Saturday in the 700 block of Gunnison Road in York’s Fireside neighborhood from noon to 3 p.m.

Blood pressure and BMI height and weight screenings will be offered as well as heart and stroke screenings. Red Cross representatives will show residents how to create an emergency kit, and members of York’s fire department will share information on the city’s free smoke detector program.

Yard sales, crafts and games for children will also be available. Call the York City Bureau of Health for more information at 849-2335.
