Maybe the city of York can find a better place to put this “do not enter” sign that is in front of a newly renovated building in downtown. Here is the story on the project, which sounds like an excellent addition to York. Maybe just move it across the alley there? A store is planned for the bottom floor and apartments above it. The sign makes me think about the flap over similar street signs on Market Street heading toward the nice “Welcome to York” sign at the boundary. Eventually, one of those “do not enter” signs was taken down.

My favorite is still the “No Stopping or Standing” sign mounted on the same pole as a “Stop” sign!!
