Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday canceled

The York City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. has been canceled.

The meeting was to be the first council session held at the new city hall at 101 S. George St.

A meeting of the business administration committee scheduled for 6 p.m. on the same night will still be held in the new building. Officials will hear a presentation from city administrators about a program to accelerate the collection of delinquent sewer and refuse fees.

The next meeting of council is scheduled for Tuesday, April 3, at 7 p.m. Public comment will begin at 6:30 p.m.
