It’s ever a curiosity, when the email comes in, and you finally get to see what’s on the next city council agenda.
There’s the usual stuff. And there is sometimes a surprise or two.
The agenda for next Tuesday, though, takes the cake.
That’s right. Aside from the standard stuff — presentations, proclamations, committee reports — there’s exactly one thing on the agenda.
Accepting the HARB recommendations.
That’s for work in the city’s historical district. And aside from that the agenda is empty.
No bills. No resolutions.
And no reason to get ahead of ourselves. Certainly, sometimes the unscheduled stuff makes the biggest splash.
That’s why we go, after all.
But right now it looks like there’s not much going on at the regularly scheduled meeting.
