The newly renovated Lincoln Park was supposed to be dedicated last Saturday, but rain ruined those plans. So now, it's rescheduled for Aug. 3, which will also be the second annual Day of Play. No more details yet.

Twice in recent days, I've seen a woman walking down city streets carrying a parrot. (I should be honest. I'm pretty sure it's a parrot. But I'm not exactly a bird expert.)
The first time, the bird was perched on her shoulder, pirate-style, as she walked down West Market Street. The second time, she was carrying the bird on North George Street.
Both times I was driving, so I couldn't really stop and ask her anything.
I'm just curious. Are they just out for a walk? It's not something you see every day.

Before my first post on the City Limits blog, I must give a disclaimer: My husband and I have a dog. She's a beagle, and she only barks when our doorbell is rung.
That being said, we walk Lucy about four times a day. And we always, always have at least two poop bags with us. But how is it that doggie muffins are found all over the city? On sidewalks, lawns, bushes, etc.
Of course, my stink isn't with the poor puppies. It's with the owners --
