Students working under Leadership York’s tutelage are rehabbing one of York’s least-known public sites — Little Jimmy’s Park.

York Town Square readers might recognize this children’s park’s proximity to sites discussed in earlier posts, now in the square’s archives: York’s stands of Habitat for Humanity-renovated rowhouses (“York’s rowhouses becoming an endangered species") and the recovering Fairmount neighborhood (“Fairmount fit for Roger, Anita and Pongo, Perdita").
Little Jimmy’s Park also stands near the site of the Cottage Hill Academy, an exclusive school built in the 1840s. The road running near Little Jimmy’s Park is named after the academy.
