Susan P. Byrnes
Many people talk about writing their memoirs , but few get around to it.
Well, Susan Byrnes has gotten around to it — and a lot of other things in her 55 years.
The York County native had her name on the side of a building — Susan P. Byrnes Health Education Center — to prove it… .
She’ll sign copies of her new book, “Giving from the Heart,” during the Family Health Festival, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, at her namesake center, 515 S. George St., York. Admission to the festival is free. Proceeds from the $19.95 book will benefit the local health education center and The National Association of Health Education Centers.
Susan Byrnes wrote the book as a gift to the York community, and she encourages readers to put their passion into action and give back to their communities.
Well said by a living legend.
