WGAL's Kim Lemon and York Daily Record/Sunday News columnist Mike Argento will meet the York County public at 7 p.m., May 9, at the White Rose Room, York Expo Center.

Once a year, folks from the York Daily Record and WGAL 8 hold a town meeting to garner public feedback about how they're doing.

It's an age when even media competitors share resources... .

Mike Argento will be there, as in past years. This is the first year in memory that Kim Lemon has joined the jointly sponsored meeting. Other reps from the newspaper (including yours truly) and the Lancaster-based NBC affiliate will be there to meet the public.

The format is simple. People ask questions, and occasionally make mini speeches, although questions are preferred. The media reps answer as briefly as possible and collect story ideas.

And the whole thing lasts no more than an hour.
