John Fetterman is mayor of the western Pennsylvania steel town of Braddock.

He's also a Harvard-trained lawyer.

And he's captured the notice of The Atlantic as a "Brace Thinker."

He's also a York County native.

York countians are everywhere. We have our national celebs and athletes and politicians.

Some people see York County has historically isolated.

Well, truth is that the county has long been a crossroads, an entry point to or an exit point from the Keystone State, a bridge between north and south.

Since its inception, the county has been in the middle of things. Given its location, that shouldn't change.
