Where the Civil War and York, Pa., baseball meet

| | Comments (0)

While checking out Patriot Days activities at York County Heritage Trust on June 22-23, look for the case exhibit on the York White Roses. ...

The trust has put together an exhibit of White Roses/York Pirate memorabilia including signed baseballs, York Athletic Club ticket books, a White Roses pendant, and a large advertisement featuring a game at Eagles Park. (Does anyone remember where that was located?)

For a complete weekend schedule of events observing York's connection to the Civil War, see Patriot Days .
