TV show box set 'Terry & the Pirates' to be part of a museum exhibit someday?

The York County Heritage Trust will soon receive an unusual artifact - a box set of the early TV series "Terry & the Pirates."
John Baer, William Penn High School Class of 1941, starred in the series.
In addition to the local connection, the series played on a historical theme.
Here's what the jacket to the box set says: ...
"Roll back the clock to 1952 when Terry & The Pirates first hit the television airwaves. It was a short-lived but entertaining adventure/drama series with a cold war theme. The program was syndicated between 1952-53 and sponsored at one time by Red Goose Shoes."
OK, John Baer was a B actor who never gained great Hollywood fame.
But to some, his is one success among many successes coming from William Penn High School in 1941.
The following editor's note appeared on a column written by Dan Meckley pointing out that class's significance:
"William Penn High School's Class of 1941 sat in kindergarten in 1929, the year the stock market fell. The class graduated in the spring before the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. This guest column ... .tells about the extensive accomplishments of a talented class whose tenure spanned one of the most difficult times in American history -- the Great Depression -- and then faced one of its greatest challenges -- World War II -- upon graduation... ."
Considering all of this, the box set is a deserving artifact in the Heritage Trust's collection. Perhaps it could be used as part of an exhibit onYork countians who have contributed to American popular culture.
