This video of the release of a deer after its rampage through the West Manchester Township Giant is sure to be in the top 10 for 2011. The incident happened on Jan. 15. (For still photo lovers, see below.) York, Pa., Daily Record/Sunday News photographers have long been shooting video for the Web as well as stills for the newspaper.

The video “Carrying Darisabel” won a major statewide award for public service reporting from the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association.
These intriguing videos from today will provide the stuff future historians will view to better understand York County.

I remember Rocky’s Pizza being in the York County Shopping Center, but there may have been another near Red Lobster in the early 80′s
It was before Rocky’s and The Office restaurant.
