How do you move a York, Pa., house? Mules and greased logs are out of style

How do you move a house today? In East Manchester Township this week, a house was moved via remote control. This rancher, in the Gross family for years, was moved to make way for a mammoth warehouse. In 1905, a prominent York Pa., farmhouse was moved via mules and greased logs.

Former York artist Cliff Satterthwaite documented this York County, Pa., mill scene via watercolor in the late 1960 or early 1970s. ‘The little mansion house is on the left …I did 3 others (one big watercolor, and 2 large acrylics) on the front porch,’ he wrote. Can you ID this mill?
