York County, Pa., has many scenes such as this, but you have to take a second to pull the vehicle off the road to enjoy them. Don McClure did just that, with a camera in his hand, and in so doing, he captured this wonderful country scene.

It’s a Conestoga Wagon. Dianne Bowders writes in ydr.com’s Your Photos: ‘Conestoga Wagons were built about 1750 in the Conestoga Valley of Lancaster Co. Wagon drivers smoked rolled tobacco leaves called “stogies”, from the word Conestoga. Location: Agricultural and Industrial Museum, 217 W. Princess St., York, PA.’
